Fall 2004: module Perl6 { ... }

Here's where things stood as of Fall 2004

• Parrot continuing ongoing development at a good pace

• An initial parser/interpreter and Perl 6 rules system developed in Perl 5, but largely seen as difficult to work with

• A beginning of PAST existed

• Only a preliminary Perl 6 grammar

• Many language features still needed clarification and specification
