Antipattern: ThreadMess

If a page or topic has too many ThreadMode comments, it becomes difficult to read and follow.

(Forums and bulletin boards often suffer from a form of this.)

Solution: refactor the page

• Separate the page into discrete topics
• Rewrite comments into summary of various positions on the topic
• Use section headings liberally
• Use separate pages for summary and discussion

Often requires a WikiGnome or WikiChampion to keep pages cleanly refactored.
