Would it be possible to use the svn post commit hook to auto-update 
something on PmWiki.

Thinking off the top of my head:

Recipe pages could optionally have an (:include:) directive that showed 
the latest commit messages. Subversion could then update/generate these 
pages, via PmWiki, every time an author committed a change.
