[pmwiki-devel] Creating a page text variable in a recipe

Hans,a big thanks for the time and effort into your comprehensive reply.

Its not clear to me if a PTV or a PV is more appropriate.

My recipe has markup such as this: (delimited by ||: and :|| )

||:
Text[Chords] etc
{directives}
{title:Song Sung Blue}
{subtitle:Neil Diamond}
{album:Hot August Night}
{start_of_chorus}
[C]Song sung [F]blue
{end_of_chorus}
etc
:||

It processes the text into formatted lyrics and chords - generates HTML
rather than wiki markup.
I want to make the title, subtitle, and album values available outside of
the markup itself, for the page (so I could say have a pagelist of albums).

thanks
lots for me to think about and try

regards
Simon
