The only thing i could imagin is... does PmWiki need to have magic_quotes turned on?
Mine are off and they are off by default.
As I saw, they are enabled on your system...

Nope, as I saw in the sandbox, on your installation it works perfectly...

it's possible to enable magic_quotes with an ini_set but the posted data has to be slashed after doing so, because it gets (not) slashed before you turn it on.
So you might need to iterate posted stuff to slash it after checking that magic_quotes are off.
