I am working on some style sheet markup and inline replacements.  Currently,
my syntax is as follows:

$DoubleBrackets [=markup\\regex_series)] =
"<begin_HTML>$1<more>$2<more>$3<end_HTML>";

Basically, I want to be able to call a different markup for one of the passed
variables.  So, is something like this possible?

$DoubleBrackets[=same_as_above] = "<some_HTML>$1"($DoubleBrackets [=new_markup
and reg_ex] = "<more_HTML>$2") <end>$3";
