[Pmwiki-users] Alt-Tags

What is the concensus on the Alt Tags.. has a good way
come up with incorporating them into wiki markup, or
is philosophy #2 seeming to trump it?  i can see that
being a  valid point by PM..  but also a valid need of
alt images and other picture markup.
