It's not always important or necessary to have the latest release of
PmWiki installed. Many minor releases are just bugfixes for problems
encountered in specific installation environments or under specific
configurations that may not affect other installations. So, if things
seem to be working okay in your installation, it's not always a
requirement to upgrade to the latest release just because it exists.
OTOH, if things aren't working, you might see if a later release
addresses the problem you're having.

In general I'll announce to the mailing lists (pmwiki-users and
pmwiki-announce) any releases that are important or address critical
issues.

Also, note that it's okay to skip minor releases; i.e., if you have
pmwiki-0.6.3 and the latest release is pmwiki-0.6.6, you can upgrade
to 0.6.6 directly without having to install versions 0.6.4 or 0.6.5.

Remember, one of open source's mottos is "Release early, release often."
:-)
