[Pmwiki-users] hierarchy

I've often longed for the same thing, but for every level we add, some
user will come along and say "we need another level" .. I suppose
multi-level, or unlimited level would be best .. but, there is a certain
part of having single level that I like. The simplicity of it .. and
the extra effort you need to go through to think about your page titles
so they are descriptive enough, and don't clash with outher titles.
I've become used to the limitation, and I don't feel it's as big a deal
as it used to be.

Sometimes I find myself using the subgroups feature only to stop myself
and think "If I make this one sub-group, then I'll want more, and more
and then I'll hit a wall .. best not to use it at all. So i try for the
most part not to use groups at all. It only confuses things later when
i'm trying to create {{freelinks}} to other pages and they don't work
the first time .. then I remember "Oh yeah, this is a different group"
..

So, actually, I don't think being limited to one group is that terrible
a thing. I reserve Groups for things that truly need to be separate
from other pages, like image gallery, or calendar entries. Otherwise, I
prefer to have all my pages in a single group.
