[Pmwiki-users] Re: Why heirarchy?

I have another big future advantages for going hierarchical:

For instance, if I have some structure like this (I know it sounds crazy,
this is, however, for exemplification only)

- departments/it/projects/a/tasks
- departments/it/projects/a/resources

and mind you, I could go like this forever (almost in a circle):
- departments/it/projects/a/resources/joe/tasks
or
- departments/it/projects/a/resources/tasks/joe

I could come up with a way to search for all the *tasks* by listing pages
in all tasks groups in all teams and all departments, or I could create a
little group browser to get to the page I want

I could also, if the groups were virtual, reverse hierarchies, and have
teams/projects/departments just by browsing a certain way.

Basically, it lets my imagination fly (well, I know, is not always good,
but hey, this is just an exercise).

Imagine something like this with long page names. That stops my
imagination. Nothing wrong there, it keeps me looking.
