All that said, pmwiki.org *has* been running slow lately, and it appears
to have to do with slow disk accesses on the server itself.  (Requests
for files on disk often seem to "hang" for several seconds -- this is true
even from my shell prompt and isn't anything specific to PmWiki.)

I'm going to file a technical request with apollohosting.com (my provider), 
and if they're not able to give a satisfactory answer I'll probably be on 
the hunt for another solution again.
