[pmwiki-users] wikifarm: letting existing wiki dir intact

If switching a normal wiki into a wikifarm, is there a disadvantage or
problem then letting the existing wiki intact in wiki.d in the root dir?

So the new farm looks like :
/wiki.d (existing wiki dir and also in use in the new farm config)
/farmdir/newfield1/wiki.d
/farmdir/newfield2/wiki.d
...

I asked this some days before, but got no answer.
