I am a bit slow, but just looked at your site. Of course the read
button contains a  self link, and extendmarkup.php changes the link
anchor <li><a>tag into  a <b>tag, thereby destroying the css button.

I think this redefinition of an anchor into bold text is most
unfortunate in extendmarkup.php.

As I said you can remove the link in PageFootMenu.
