[pmwiki-users] paragraph insert on wikipage within wikitext

Hello everyone,

I am currently setting up a website with the latest pmwiki and the
PictureGallery script.

Inserting the gallery script will place it at the beginning of the
wikitext part of a page.

Unfortunately, pmwiki wraps the whole script code in paragraph tags,
i.e. <p> ... (gallery script) ... </p>.

I would like to get rid of that tag as I style the gallery with a few
div tags. But with valid XHTML, divs are not allowed within p tags.

The only workaround I found is to start the gallery with a </p> and to
end it with a <p>, so that creates an empty paragraph before and after
the script. But I would rather not have those tags at all.

The <p> wrap also occurs if I place an image on top of a page with the
attach:filename.jpg command.

Those wraps did not occur in pmwiki 1.x.

They also do NOT occur if the contents starts with a heading or on a
page with the mailform script.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanx!
Kind regards,
Moni Kellermann
