Yes and no.  The entire authorization function is pluggable, so
you could just create a custom version of that function that
has exactly the prompts/messages you want.  However, I suspect 
that's a bit more than you were looking for, which leads to answer 2...

The user-authorization system that I'm working on has customizable
prompts and also puts the password prompt inside of a layout frame (like
all of the other wiki pages).  

So, I'll just take this as being another "5" vote for user
authorization (PITS #00010), which currently has votes of
"5555552555454555".  

(sigh)  For some reason I'm not a big fan of user account maintenance,
or writing scripts to do such.  Maybe I did too much of that as a
sysadmin (sigh).  But I should have something in place within the
week.
