Yep.  I use vi to edit my email, and I have it invoke a perl program
that uses Text::Autoformat on my behalf.  You can exactly the same
thing with Emacs.  The entire perl program looks like this:

	perl -MText::Autoformat -e 'autoformat({all=>1});'
