PmWiki is aimed at web site maintenance, and that includes internal
sites as well.

(:nolinkwikiwords:) will turn off wikiword linking, while (:linkwikiwords:)
will turn it back on again.

I think that what you're describing are WikiGroups, not categories --
categories are something different.  (And they're not hierarchical.)

We're still working on the documentation for categories, but in the
meantime take a look at the thread starting at
http://pmichaud.com/pipermail/pmwiki-users/2005-March/010982.html,
which I think is really what you're looking for.
