Leaving aside the choice of markup for the moment...

So how widely might this apply? For example, what do the
following mean (if anything):

* Bork bork bork
+Borkbork bork ... bork.

:Borkbork:blech blech blech
+Borkbork bork ... bork.

If the above are valid markup, how do they relate to:

* Bork bork bork
  Borkbork bork ... bork.

:Borkbork:blech blech blech
          Borkbork bork ... bork.

If they mean the same thing, does pmwiki need both?
(Rhetorical question, inviting the answer 'no'.)

If they are different, what might that difference be?

Or is + only allowed in the context of a 'multiparagraph'
and 

* Bork bork bork
+Borkbork bork ... bork.

is treated as if the author had written

* Bork bork bork+Borkbork bork ... bork.

It doesn't seem quite right that 

+Borkbork bork ... bork.

is only meaningful in the context of a multiparagraph.
