[pmwiki-users] Suggestion for doc mod: PmWiki.Images

Hi!

I'd like to add a comment to http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/PmWiki/Images:

There's a note near the bottom that says:

"An image file that lacks a correct extension can be displayed by
addition of a "false" extension to the URL. For example, if the url is
http://www.example.com/script/tux, add a fake query string on the end
with the desired extension (e.g.,
http://www.example.com/script/tux?format=.png)."

In some case this is not a good idea, as the format= (or whatever) will
actually be interpreted by the server... I got bitten by this.

A better, fail-safe solution is to use #:

http://www.example.com/script/tux#.png
