My standard approach (as mentioned at the top of pmwiki.php) is that
whenever someone requests documentation for a specific function, I'll
gladly write it up.  Unfortunately, I'm out of town this week and
have limited network connectivity, so it may be a couple of days before
I can get to it.  :-|
