[pmwiki-users] How do I make deleted pages not show up in pagelists?

I deleted the .pagelist file, but the problem still persists. I'm still
trying to figure out what's going on. The fact that it does it in
certain groups and not in others seems like a clue, I just don't know
what it means.

Deleting this will cause your wiki to re-index all its pages, which
will slow everything down for a time, and I'm not at all sure it's the
culprit, so you might want to wait to get a concurring opinion from
the list before removing it)
