[pmwiki-users] HTTP 404-Browser error for version "pmwiki-2.1.beta37" - but nor for "pmwiki-2.0.13"

Hi pm-list,

i am new to pmwiki (- did i oversee an installation task?)

On a local installation consisting of
W2K Pro, PHP 5.1.2, IE 6.0/Firefox 1.5

pmwiki-2.1.beta37 (same for pmwiki-2.1.beta36)
(just a blank install without any modifications)

i get the the Browser "HTTP 404 - File not found" error
(not the wikipage "Site.PageNotFound"!)
when trying to create a page by supplying the new pagename
in the browser's address bar
e.g.:
    http://localhost/atest3/pmwiki.php?n=Main.MyNewPage

(all other "create new page"-methods work!).


But for my local pmwiki-2.0.13-install. this feature works.
(and surely on http://www.pmwiki.org/ (pmwiki-2.1.beta37))
