I took a look at the recipe that you "have written" and submitted, but
it seems to just be pointing to someone else's site with instructions
to take their boilerplate javascript, which you "take no credit for",
with a directions edit our skin template(s) to call the script.

If you take a look around at the cookbook entries, you will see that
people have done some incredible work to create recipes that do some
amazing things with PmWiki. I have such respect for the people who
have put so much time, effort, skill and thoughtfulness into the work
that they create and share with the rest of the PmWiki community.

I can't tell you what to do, and I wouldn't touch your contribution,
but, if I was you and I had put that recipe out their, I would think
about whether I really wanted to keep that recipe out their in its
current form. If you feel that the recipe, which addresses a generic
problem with two versions of Internet Explorer, is something that is
important enough, then at least you might think about putting a little
more time and thought into intergrating that recipe into PmWiki in a
way that does not require administrators to edit every template used on
their site, including updates.

Sorry to come down on you, but for me, its about the respect that we
show to the others around here who put so much of themselves into
providing enhancements and solutions for PmWiki. For what its worth,
I'm not one of them (in that I have never written a recipe) so its not
that I think I am any better than you - I don't and I'm not - but I'm
just giving a heads up inviting you to look around and show some
respect. Again, I do not mean to disrespect you in pointing this out.
Just a heads up.

Pico
