Actually, with all you can do with pagelists, categories, and now the
text vars, the main reason remaining for nested groups seems to be
heritable group attributes.

I guess it could also be useful for clean urls, and sorting pages into
folders on the server.  That would be nice perhaps. But neither of
those are critical for any reason I can think of on my site...
