[pmwiki-users] Changes not saved on a parallel install with 2.2.0-beta14

I duplicated the whole original pmwiki folder, and copied it to a new folder.
It should retain the settings of the original one (I guess).

Also, I'm forced to adopt a Microsoft server, but know nothing about
it's rights settings. It seems that I cannot set anything... No
standard rwx... show on the ftp client (filezilla).

The site itself is all protected by a password for any action but
browse; that seems to work as the password is regularly asked before
allowing actions.
