I would not recommend XesAuthUserDbase for a "single sign-on"  
scenario.  It's intended for stand-alone use... unless you want users  
to be able to change their passwords and get password reminders from  
the wiki instead of (or in addition to) vbulletin.  I also require  
extra SQL fields to hold email address, validation code and  
validation status.

In a situation where another program controls the sign-on data, I  
think the original AuthUserDbase is the safe bet.

I will be working with Ben at some point to consolidate the recipes  
in the future.  At that point there may be a switch, I guess, for  
stand-alone vs. borrowing authentication from an external application.
