I've been doing that with dreamhost - farm installation and hosting
other sites administered by others.
I've been using dreamhost.com for a few years and have been happy with
it. You can host an unlimited number of domains, create separate ftp
and shell accounts, as well as email accounts, with no extra charge.
Your bandwidth allowance increases over time and in my experience
their support has been very fast and responsive. You can sign up by
the month, year, etc. I think the annual amount is $120 (or $10 a
month). You can use the discount code CREATEBUILD to get $30 off.
