[pmwiki-users] need to require password for guestbook

Is there a configuration, or can someone come up with a variation, on
the Guestbook recipe http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/Guestbook
that will require a password for an entry?  I want to display the
password prominently on the page as the simplest method of avoiding
spam-bot entries.

Is the recipe somehow over-riding the authorization requirement, and
if so, is there some way to over-ride the over-ride?
