It will be a very different forum, using display templates, so the
messages will be saved without formatting. I think it will not be
compatible with the existing forum. Maybe old forum pages can still be
viewed as now. I have not tested this.

As to when: I am not sure at the moment, as I have stalled work on
Fox. I have run into a few problems I find no answers at present.
Questions about posting security, about integration of extension
filter scripts, and about message handling.
And I am reluctant to release any new forum till this is sorted out.

I think it is better to use a Fox forum as an experiment at present,
till PmWiki 2.2.0 comes out of beta and the new form processing
features are there. Only then can some serious forum development
happen.
