[pmwiki-users] TotalCounter upgrade zeross my prior page counts

I am using the Cookbook:TotalCounter 1.5 recipe. Using 
?action=recipecheck, which is fantastic, told me there is a newer 
version of that recipe., I have tried to upgrade to the newer 1.8a 
version but I find that the newer recipe resets all of my pages counts.

Is there some way to update to the newer TotalCounter recipe without 
losing all of the prior page counts?
