For your information, I have been using successfully a comment system
using Fox, both for comment boxes and for simple forums, and expanded
the submitting forms so that an email is sent to me immediately whenever
someone makes a post, and have the content of the posting included in
the email, plus link to the page, so I can respond quickly.

This system uses Fox, FoxCommentBox or FoxForum, and FoxNotify as the
email notification system.
