hi there
i asked about a similar problem a while back, related to {$$option}  
passing thru a pagelist as "{$$option}" if not supplied, and got the  
response from patrick that a change (likely to null) would appear in  
a future update.

i don't think it did; i wonder if someone has created a pits page for  
it?
i'm still very interested in seeing empty {$$options} returning null  
in a future release.
