I was unable to get PmWiki to recognize my changes to $FmtPV at the time I was writing the recipe, and now that I know better I haven't gotten around to making the necessary changes.

I am also trying to set a variable somehow from a function called in markup, like SelectQuery, and I would like to have this variable's value be displayable, and hopefully be recognized by
(:if:) statements. I don't care if it is a PV, a PTV, or something else. But nothing I seem to be able to do can make the timing come out correctly. What is the secret?

Thanks for your help.
