[pmwiki-users] Template Markup description

Hi
I'm trying to create a template to create a new page.
How can I get a variable to print its value to the new page.

Eg the template file

(: title {*$fullname} :)

Results:
(: title NewGroup.NewPage :)

Have been looking for several hours after the markup for templates and an  
explanation how to do. I think I read an instruction about this before.
