output could potentially meet your needs.

Exactly right. EPUB is essentially a standard for portable, 
device-independent ebooks, rather than for general-purpose web pages. If 
your wiki content lends itself to a book-like reading experience, EPUB 
will work well. But if an ebook is not the right structure, a 
mobile-friendly pmwiki skin and css may be a better solution.
