Peter, I'll work on cleaning up the url later. That doesn't seem to be
my problem now.<br>
Let me try to be more clear.<br>
Simon, I've reviewed your references and the instructions. <br>
But something is still wrong. <br>
I changed my main directory from "pmwiki" to "public_html."<br>
When I point to <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://charternetwork.org/public_html/pmwiki.php">http://charternetwork.org/public_html/pmwiki.php</a>, I get
"Charter for Compassion Network|Main/HomePage - Mozilla Firefox" in the
title bar. So that seems right.<br>
But when I edit that page, I'm not prompted for a password, and I
expected to have to use the default 'admin.'<br>
When I edited the title page line to read "$WikiTitle = 'Test';" and
uploaded it, it made no difference <br>
And when I edited the logo line to read "# $PageLogoUrl = "";" I
expected the PMWiki logo to disappear, but it did not.<br>
I believe my server, freeinternet.org, uses Apache., but
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_dir.html#directoryindex">http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_dir.html#directoryindex</a> is
Greek to me.<br>
Any further ideas?<br>
