Inc. Magazine spotlighted PmWiki in its February issue. Inc. said "It's the true open-source alternative. It takes some tech smarts to use, but once you've downloaded the software, it's totally customizable." The magazine liked the "far-flung community of developers constantly adding new features," and that the price was "free." It compared it with other wikis costing up to $10,000.

I'm off to OSCON 2005 in Portland, Oregon from Aug 1 thru Aug 7th. On the 3rd, I'm presenting on the Design and Implementation of the Perl 6 Compiler.

YAPC 2005 (Yet Another Perl Conference) in Toronto was excellent! Gained a lot of insight. Met in real life most of the Perl 6.0 development team. Perl 6.0 grew leaps and bounds during the PUGS Hack-a-Thon. Presented at YAPC on the status of Perl 6.0 compiler.

PmWiki version 0.6 has finally been released and now includes features such as PmWiki/AuthorTracking and Internationalizations. Many more features are planned. You can read the announcement or go directly to the PmWiki site.
