PmWiki | Profiles / JasonCounsel

February 16, 2005 Just getting started with wikis. Thought I'd try and install one on the school site. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

February 27, 2005 After a minor blip during the initail pmwiki install (user error!), it's been a dream to work with ever since. You can see the wikis at:

http://www.k12.nf.ca/williamgillett/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage - to be used as the school main web pages, and

http://www.k12.nf.ca/williamgillett/pmwiki.php/Student/HomePage - a true wiki for use as a project collaboration space (or however else it grows :)

I set up both using the gemini skin, with different defaults for each group.

March 21, 2005 - I've renamed pmwiki.php to index.php so vistors can just go to http://www.k12.nf.ca/williamgillett/ to see the site. I'm using fixflow now and using the authenticated script to give the main site a less wiki look. However I've also included a student group, which operates like a true wiki. I've also installed the calendar, and the forum, which should serve the school community very well. I'm really enjoying working with the site, and it's been getting great reviews.
