I use pmwiki on our internal documentation site and have a personal setup at http://josiah.ritchietribe.net/(approve links) that I call flickerwiker. I'm known elsewhere on the web as flickerfly.

I use the password 'notasecret' for default access on my wikis that are open to the Internet and publish it in the SideBar. This seems to have entirely removed wiki spam activity from my site, but still allow anyone to participate.
