[pmwiki-devel] New Metadata System?

I've been watching the Hierarchical Groups recipe work with some interest, in
that I had been planning to attempt my own take on the exact same thing early
in the new year, which would be about now.

The thing is, my version really would depend heavily on the PmWiki metadata
system, and I seem to recall PM saying that its slated for a major overhaul.
Any idea when that might happen? I'd hate to do a bunch of work that suddenly
becomes obsolete.
