[pmwiki-devel] PmSyntax after upgrade

Once again I am seeking advice or assistance.

I upgraded from 2.5.2 to 2.5.4 and after PmSyntax did not show the
[[Highlight]] option on the edit page (it did previously) and I see
something like this for highlighted text,

The wiki is (supposed to be) unicode and AFAIK all text files are saved as
unicode.
any pointers?
