I agree.

The navigational structure of a site's pages and the underlying wiki 
structure shouldn't necessarily be welded together.  An optional SiteMap 
meta-structure capability could provide the best of both worlds.

I added a few paragraphs to 
http://www.pmichaud.com/wiki/Development/HierarchicalGroups in which I 
attempt to explain what I mean by this.

IMHO this capability could increase PmWiki's usefulness as a 
site-building tool (PmWikiPhilosophy Item #4) by an order of magnitude, 
where PmWiki could be to Cold Fusion what MySQL is to Oracle.
