I've more or less scripted my installations. Actually, I put the commands here:

	http://www.pmichaud.com/wiki/PmWiki/InstallationQuickCommands

and then I do copy & paste. That works pretty well for me. (This assumes 
a Unix-server of course). If you want to be slightly more advanced, you 
paste these commands into a script file and then modify the script 
according to your needs.

Setting up a server (with my version of the basic stuff) doesn't take more 
than 10-30 minutes, depending on how much you want to customize it of 
course.
