They were about a suggestion from me, about maybe adding a link for
creating a new page -- this doesn't exist (at the moment anyway).

Try editing a page and adding this text:

             MyNewPage

this should result in this when you look at the page:

             MyNewPage?

where the '?' is a link, and if you click on it, you will be able to
create a new page.
