It probably does have to do with IIS 6.0.

Can you set $EnableDiag=1 in your local.php, then send me (privately) the
output of the following URI?

   http://www.oursite.com/pmwiki.php/PmWiki/PmWiki?action=diag

That will tell me a lot about if/how we might be able to solve this problem
in your installation.
