I'm working on documenting PmWiki's many variables now--I've just
added a feature to the pmichaud.com site (to be included in 0.6.1)
where variable names in the text become links to the documentation
for that variable.  

Anyone have any ideas how the variable links should be rendered?  Right
now I'm just setting them as monospaced text and setting the
text-decoration property to "none",  but it's not great and I'm looking
for better suggestions.  Maybe someone has seen a style that works
particularly well in other places?
