It was small, about 70k, and I tried with a small text file with the 
same result.

OK, I've currently turned off the upload password on 
http://www.kallisti.net.nz, so go ahead testing in Main/SandBox or 
something. (Assuming that commenting out the password setting line means 
that there is no password)
