All good, and I appreciate the desire to avoid HTML type mark-up, as 
although it's natural to many (myself included), it's still a foreign 
language for others.

I do like -/- for the line break (and perhaps -//- for a paragraph 
break in addition to [[<<]], or dare I suggest -///-, -////-, -/////- 
etc. for three, four, five line breaks?)
