[Pmwiki-users] question about adding more data to page's flat file

I'm intrested in makeing a cookbook for Trackback (which I think would
probably be really useful to get added to the core, its a standard now
for blogs and other CMS systems).

I was wondering if PmWiki will choke if there is extra data in the
flat file? And if there is simple libary of functions to write to and
read from the flat files (i'm sure there is, but is it versitile
enough to read new data variables?).

Any Info or example on doing this would be great.
