[Pmwiki-users] Need help for PhotoGallery (Cook-book recipe in Development)

This is a solicitation for help in developing a new Image Gallery for
the Cookbook.

I've completed a detailed requirements specification for how I want it
to work.  Now all that's left to do is "code till I drop".  As I've only
been coding php for a few months, I'm still a big rough around the
edges.  I'm looking for any help that I can get (either experience php
programmers that understand regexp, or beginners with some time on their
hands to muddle through the php reference like I do).

Took me 2 days to write a function that should have only taken me 20
minutes.

I wanted to write a function to read the contents of a directory in to
an array, and then output it on the screen.  The purpose of that
exercise was for the bigger picture, which is to to read the images in
the album, and check to see if the corresponding thumb-nail exists, and
if not, to create it.  At this rate, I think it will be done in 3-4
weeks instead of 3-4 days.  So that's why I'm looking to solicit some
help :)

I'm sure I'll manage to get it all working (eventually), but a partner
(or 3) would sure speed things up.  I'm not looking to re-design
everything, the design is complete.  I just want some help coding the
functions (not opposed to suggestions however, but really just want to
get the basic implented and running for now.

So if there are any interested parties out there (even someone just
learning php), and if you don't mind receiving coding assignments (like
"I need a simple function that takes these arguments, performs these
actions, and then returns this data"), then let me know!
